gross sal;ary in FCI for the post under consideration for AG-III is around 15000/-as on date.
however AG-II& AG-I will get higher salaries as they are senior to AG-III and are also included in CAt-III of FCI.

The salary of AG iii officer is not so much compare to assistant grade in other dept. the gross salary of the said post is as under

HR 1860 (if House rent is 20%)
Da 4390 (47.2%)

Hi everyone, I have cleared paper-1 of AG-03 (FCI) conducted on 05,Feb.2012. I am already employed in central government office and getting all together around 22000, moreover I am entitled for pension too. Could anybody guide me, whether I should think about joining as AG-3 in FCI, I heard, salary is quiet less in FCI.. I am an ex-serviceman from Indian Air Force.

you should not join this because of these 3 reasons

1) this not central govt. job therefore you will not be entitled for some specific facilities

2) the salary is quiet lesser than your salary

3) you should not demolish your seniority in your present job
