Sir/Mam, Can u plz tell me the right and appropriate way of preparing for gk current affairs etc for competitive examinations related to teaching fields in my case for ugc net, for kvs pgt examination for which i m currently preparing for plz i'll b thankful to u for this.

Well as you are preparing for GK and current affairs you need to have a good grasp of the current awareness by looking up various gk books.

Some of them can be considered as:
Frontline
India today
manorama year book
India week
CSR refresher etc.

You can refer Hindu and times of india...then you can have the confidence of cracking any exam..
