What is the eligibility criteria for PGT sociology in KVS/NVS/DSSSB? I am NET qualified in sociology. Can I apply for PGT without B.Ed? Please send the required information about this as soon as possible.

Eligibility Criteria Required for PGT Sociology in KVS/ NVS/ DSSSB:

No, B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) course is mandatory in order to be eligible for PGT post. Yes, PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) for the post itself it resembles that Post Graduation along with B.Ed course is required. The basic educational qualification required is as follows.

>> Candidates must have completed Master's Degree or a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.

>> Candidates must have also done B.Ed from a recognized university besides that post Graduate degree.

>> Candidates must be proficient in teaching in Hindi/ English

>> As you are done with B.Ed, you are not eligible to apply for PGT Sociology as far as my knowledge is concerned.

I have done B.Ed. and M.Sc. in Microbiology but the result of final semester of M.Sc. is still awaited. So, am I eligible to give the exam of KVS and NVS PGT
