Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE? Which books to refer?
IIT JEE is one of the toughest entrance exams for the Engineering aspirants. For the exam the questions covers the areas of PCM. You have to study thoroughly the topics covered under NCERT text book of class 11th and 12th for the exam. For maths you can use R. S. Agarwal’s text, for physics you can refer H.C. Verma’s and that for chemistry you can go with O.P. Agarwal. But this is not the ultimate you can use other study material and can join a crash course and attend maximum mock tests.

The rank will be not depend upon How many hours you spent in preparation It depends on how many hours you perfectly utilized Before 4 months of the exam preparing for JEE for 5 hours with full of concentration brings a very good rank some of the points you must remember while preparing for the exam are you must be highly concentrated towards your goal you should know all the patter and examination procedure of the exam Make smart plans and follow accordingly You must be hardworker for the whole six months keep all attractions away from you stick to your preparation Make the best time in your preparation for your recreation and relaxation .. practice with some of the mock test to know the competition of the exam this is all about the exam preparation attitude a candidate must have You should not think about your branch selection now itself because it may disturb your preparation so concentrate more on your preparation. Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE? Which books to refer?
To crack IITJEE , you to first set your aim as qualifying it, then only you can do well.
focus mainly on concepts, make your mind more conscious, because clarifying an IITJEE entrance test is the difficult task to do. IIT is the dream college of every student, who has done 10+2 in PCM. so competition is very tough, you have to try best at your level to get into it. bought books by ARIHANT publication for IITJEE, those were best as i think. And also concernt NCERT books, usually they contain whole syllabus, but in short. so you require a deep study to beat that level. best wishes. |

Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE? Which books to refer?
dear friend,
for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from tata mcgraw hills for maths d c pandey for physics arihant for chemistry you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam. while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution. you must remember these tips to get good result. good luck. |

Re: How to prepare for IIT JEE? Which books to refer?
The best method for the preparation of IITJEE is to join some of the renowned coaching institutes like FIITJEE, Resonance, Akash institute. However if you want to concentrate on self-study then you should start from the very first of class XI. you should read each and every chapter clearly and meanwhile develop interest for the topics. Keep in your mind that questions asked in IITJEE are conceptual and require a strong and smart thinking. Hence if your concepts are weak and unclear then you cannot crack IITJEE. Therefore it is important for you that you develop your conceptual knowledge at first and then focus on the numericals. And always keep in your mind that once your concepts are clear then no one can stop you from doing any type of sum.
These are some books which will help you in preparing for IITJEE:- Books for physics H.C.Verma( volumes 1 & 2)-if you don't have plenty of time OR Halliday/Resnick/Walker-if you have plenty of time Books for chemistry K.L.Chugh(for class XI and class XII)-for organic and physical chemistry any NCERT book for inorganic chemistry O.P.Agarwal-for numericals Books for maths M.L.Agarwal |
