UGC NET is the gateway for entrance in teaching profession in colleges/universities and research. You should follow some tips given below to prepare well for UGC NET in Home Science.

UGC NET Preparation Tips
- Start preparation as early as possible and at least 6 months before the examination to get enough time for preparation and practice.
- Know syllabus and exam pattern. Understand and prepare each topic accordingly.
- Refer standard reference books for preparation.
- Prepare notes of all important points, formulas. It is very helpful for revision at end time.
- Solve previous year papers to know your mistakes and know your position where the improvement is required.

UGC NET Exam Pattern
- Exam comprises of two papers.
- Paper 1 will be from teaching/research aptitude and Paper 2 will be based on subject selected by candidate.

- Number of Questions : 50
- Total Marks : 100
- Exam Duration : 1 Hour

Paper 2
- Number of Questions : 100
- Total Marks : 200
- Exam Duration : 2 Hour
