Respected Sir/Madam, I am studying BTech with Computer Science Engineering. I want to work under Cyber Security. I would like to know that how I can get job in Cyber Security after completing my BTech course?

Cyber security professionals have a wide range of responsibilities, protecting data being the most important one of them. They may work with Banks, Retailers and government organization and Private enterprise.
Safeguarding networks, creating security plans, Securing Company’s files and network are some of the regular functions they perform.


Security Specialist, Security administrator, Vulnerability assessor, Cryptographer, Security manager/ Engineer are some the roles they may undertake in an organization.

To Enter this field –

First you need to have sound programming knowledge-
C, C++ , Java, Python , Perl, Ruby ,Linux/ Mac Bash shell scripting.

Dealing and setting up Networks-
System/ Network configuration. Network protocols, Firewall, VPNs.

These skills will get you an entry in this field. To further enhance your career, you can go for various certifications which will enhance your knowledge and value in market.
