Yes, You can join in Indian Army (BSF) after 10th standard but the post is constable only.You are from ICSE board but they are not consider any particular board.But your degree must be valid.

But after 10 th standard you have some option in various Defence sector.

Washer
Cook
Driver

And so various post.

Also you are applicable for CISF ,CRPF ,BSF ,ITBP etc post.But this post for only GD grade.

Every state recruit the Police constable , so you are applicable here.

If you have completed your 12th standard then you are eligible for NDA exam.So better option for you to go for 12th standard.Because after that you are applicable for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy .This exam is conducted by UPSC twice time in a year.

Those candidate have completed 12th standard with science ,arts ,commerce departments are applicable for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.There are no age relaxation criteria for SC/ST criteria.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.Also you must have citizenship of India.

After 10th standard you can join Indian Army as soldier through District Recruitment Board, the recruitment process is held in some intervals. After 10th you can not join Indian Army as an Officer.

So if you have completed 12th in any stream you can join Indian Army through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for those candidate within the age of 16.5 to 19 years and must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only.

SIR, I WANT MY SON TO JOIN INDIAN ARMY, HE HAS CLEARED IS 10 CLASS BUT IS HAS NOT PASSED IN 11 STADERED AND HE DOES NOT WANT TO CONTINU HIS 11 STANDARED. SO HE WAS PLANING TO CLEAR HIS 12 FROM OPEN SCHOOL.HE HAS A GOOD HEIGHT AND NORMAL PHYSIC. CAN HE JOIN INDIAN ARMY.
