If you are Interested to make your career in defense services then after completing 12Th examination you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination, The examination was conducted by UPSC Every year and After B.com you can join the Army wings of National Defense Academy.

You can not join in Indian Army after 12th in commerce...
Only a science student can apply for Indian Army after 12th through NDA...
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year...
If you able to crack the test then they will call you for the SSB..
The eligibility criteria for the NDA test-

Educational qualification-
1.One must have complete the 12th in science stream..
2.One should have 60% marks in Physics, chemistry,Maths...

Age criteria-
1.One should have the age in between 16-1/2 to 19 years..

As you have mentioned that you have done your 12th in commerce and you want to join in Indian army, then you have to first complete your graduation...
After that you can apply for Indian army through CDS exam...
So, first go for graduation... after that you can appear in CDS exam...

to join INDIAN ARMY, u must clear BDS or MDS with minimum of 60%...

Dear friend,

After 10+2 you are applicable for defense under NDA sector .

But you must be completed your 10+2 with any stream.

Also your age must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Now your age is 17 so you are applicable for NDA exam.

there are some criteria like..
*the candidates should be pass from +2 exam with any stream, from a recognize board.
*the age limit is 17 - 20 yrs,
*the candidates should be unmarried &
the candidates should be an Indian citizen.

If you are interested in joining Indian army after 12th board then the best way is to join NDA after qualifying class 12th board exams. You must pass class 12th board from science subjects precisely Physics, Chemistry and Maths and to appear for NDA exam you must secure at least an aggregate of 60% marks in PCM.

If you are a commerce student you are not eligible to appear for this exam. The candidate must be a science stream student to join NDA.

But you can join IMA after completing your graduation, which you can do in any field.

Yes, you can join indian army. but there is a one condition for applicable to join indian army. first you have to complete your graduation in commerce streem.after complete your graduation ,you can fill the indian army form. first you have to pass in the exam which taken by State Governament.

After qualifying +2 level of examination from a recognized board, the best way to join Indian Army is through NDA exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years.
The application form for the NDA exam 2012 will be available from 31-12-2011.
You may obtain the application form from your nearest post office or head post office or you may apply online through www.upsconline.nic.in.

You have every chance to join the Indian Army.

After passing class 12th you can apply for the NDA examination.The examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the NDA examination is that the candidate must has passed class 12th and the age of the candidate between the 16.5 years to 19 years.
And the examination is only for the unmarried male candidates.

Yes,you can join in Indian Army after 12th class with Commerce stream,by appear for NDA exam.
To appear for NDA exam,you should fulfill with education qualification and Age limit criteria.
You have fulfilled with Education qualification,and if your age is also between 16 1/2 to 19 years,then you can appear for NDA (Indian Army) exam.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.If you are not able to clear NDA-I exam,you can appear for NDA-II exam.

It's good to start your preparation from class-11 itself.

Eligibilty
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :

12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :

12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

The minimum acceptable height is 162.5 cms.
