It is a registered society under Rajasthan society registration act, 1958 (Rajasthan act no. 28, 1958) of Rajasthan on the name of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, (Manya) Udaipur. The University is accredited by NAAC in 2005. The varsity has applied for approval from Joint Committee of AICTE-UGC-DEC to offer Distance Education Programmes under Distance Education.
