Re: IAS exam, how to get form? availability and submission procedure?
Every year, UPSC conducts Civil Services Exams. Lots of candidates participate in Civil Services Exams for a limited number of posts and getting through is really tough. In Civil services exams, there are 2 rounds like Preliminary & Mains. If you qualify in preliminary round, then you are selected for mains round in which your written test or interview will be taken.
Date of Notification/Last date for receipt of applications: 2.1.2010 - 01/02/2010 Date of Commencement of examination and its duration: 23rd May, 2010 (One day) Age Limits: 21-30 years as on 01.08.2010 best of luck |

Re: IAS exam, how to get form? availability and submission procedure?
DEAR ASPIRANT...
Important points to remember when applying online for the IAS Exam 2012: The online application form consists of 2 parts – Part I and Part II. Both should be completed in all respects and submitted for your application to the IAS exam 2012 to be successful. You should provide your best and genuine email id as the details will be sent there by UPSC. You should upload your photograph and signature in Part II, which should be clearly visible and readable. The file format allowed is .JPG, maximum file size allowed is 40 KB and recommended dimensions are 110X140 pixels. Make sure you apply well in advance as non-fee exempted candidates will also need to fill details of fee paid online. You will need to select your centre of examination for Prelims as well as Mains. So think before you select an option as UPSC will not permit changes later. You are also required to indicate your choice of optional subjects, but this is for their survey purpose only and you can change your selection while applying for the Main exam later.
