Every year, UPSC conducts Civil Services Exams. Lots of candidates participate in Civil Services Exams for a limited number of posts and getting through is really tough. In Civil services exams, there are 2 rounds like Preliminary & Mains. If you qualify in preliminary round, then you are selected for mains round in which your written test or interview will be taken.
Date of Notification/Last date for receipt of applications: 2.1.2010 - 01/02/2010

Hello Civil Aspirant,

Don't worry about it ..

just the pattern changed not the examination code..

the examination code is designed and the UPSC is successfully following the same

from ages..

once again for you i'm going to tell the AGE LIMIT and QUALIFICATION for the civil services examination.

and before that i'm going to clear you one more thing that is ..

IAS and IPS both are civil services and having the common entrance exam called civil service examinition

The Eligibility Criteria for CSE is

-> you should have a degree from a recognized Indian University..

->your age should be in between 21 and 30 years..

and there is some relaxation for reserved categories in their upper age limit..

I think your doubt got cleared..

if it still persists then once go through the official link of UPSC

www.upsc.gov.in

this is the official link

regards..

~aditya~
