IELTS scores are valid for USA universities. Till what extend it is true? Then what about GRE and TOELF scores? Please suggest your opinion.

The International English Language testing System is accepted by US universities.According to the official website of IELTS, more than 3000 institutions and programs in US accepts its score.

GRE is Graduate Record Examination and TOEFL is Test of English as Foreign Language. Both these tests are conducted by US Educational Testing Service.

The basic difference between IELTS and TOEFL is that both of them are conducted by different educational testing organization. If you are willing to pursue higher studies in US, you may take either IELTS or TOEFL.

GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination.
The score of this test is utilized to apply for higher studies in foreign countries.
Earlier this score was used for mainly MS programs but it is used for many other
courses eg., MBA.

The IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System
and TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language.
Both of these two, are English language proficiency test and are accepted in most
of the English speaking countries.
The IELTS score or TOEFL score is an additional requirement with the GRE score
so as to apply for higher studies in foreign universities.

TOEFL and IELTS are alternate of each other but GRE is completely different.

If you are willing to do higher studies in foreign universities you must take GRE test
but you can take any one of IELTS and TOEFL for test of English.

Both the test of English are international standardized test and mostly
USA universities accept them.

no,ielts only is not valid for studying in usa.
gre means graduate record exam ,ielts is international english language testing system, toefl is test of english as a foreign language

for studying in usa, initially you need to good score ,which is a compulsary test for studying in usa. gre exam is mainly for getting scholarship ,based on your score and along with gre you need to qualify in either toefl/ielts .they are mainly for english language exams.

IELTS exam mostly accepted by UK university so far,but now a days some of the US universities also accepting IELTS score.If you have given the IELTS exam,then you can apply for those universities in US,which accepts IELTS score.
If you have given TOEFL exam,then definitely you have to give GRE exam also.Then only you can get seat in US Universities.

For GRE you have to get above 1100 out of 1600 marks to get admission in good University.
For TOEFL you have to get above 80 out of 120 marks to get scholarship in US universities.
For IELTS,you have get 6 out of 12 points to get admission in good universities.

With only IELTS score,which countries we can apply for Masters degree??

which university accept IELTS score with GRE?

I Complete my b.tech in field of Information Technology...now i want take admission in good university of America..but I complete my IELTS coaching..Is it valid for higher study in America ????

i got 5.5 band in ielts and will give GRE in february,so pl suggest good university in usa
