My question is regarding a student who has failed in three subjects of 12th CBSE Board in the result declared on 02-05-2019.

1. Can he re-appear for examination of all three subjects in 2019 and when he can appear if eligible?

2. If he passed out after appeared in the exam, what will be the scenario?

3. If he will not pass or get lower percentage and want to re-appear in the coming next year examination, is it possible?

4. Last one - would he be eligible to appear for all subjects in the next coming year CBSE-Board exam?

Answer 1: If a candidate has failed in 3 or more than 3 subjects in CBSE, then he/she cannot apply for Compartment Exam. He/she will have to apply for all subjects and re-appear for the Board Exam next year.

Answer 2: He can only apply for all the subjects.

Answer 3: Yes, he can appear for next year exam.

Answer 4: Yes, he will be eligible for appearing in all subjects in next coming year of CBSE Board Exam.
