hello frnds I want to know about the preparation details for the GATE exam.

to crack the gate exams, then i will suggest you just prepare for this exams
according to the syllabus. GATE is an objective type test with multiple choice
questions with total time duration of 3 hours. There are 65 questions for a total
of 100 marks. There is a 33 % negative marking for every wrong answer. Use the

to crack GATE exam you have to work hard and to be labourious
subject is dependent on your stream in which you are doing your b.tech
and to crack GATE you english must be good and general apptitute reasioning must be good.
To get good colleges you have to score good in GATE entrance-exam.
you can join some institute which provide classroom program and
study materials and your basics or fundamental must be clear.

so to crack the gate,you have to build a proper knowlede in your trade subjects.you have to study carefull your own trade subjects.for that you may take the help of given below books

First of all,you didnt told which branch you are,otherwise it would have been more easier.

every subject is important which is included in the syllabus. but i will suggest you prepare for that subject only in which you have better concept and better knowledge. try to solve math and the aptitude part in GATE. it will help you very much to increase your score.

dear it correct that some of the subjects are main for the gate exams but they are different for the different branches you have not metion your branch of the b.tech
like for the electronics&communication the main subject are
1-D.COM
2-DIGITAL CIRCUITS
3-CONTROL SYSTEM
4-NETWORK ANALYSIS & SYNTHESIS

you did not mention your stream.so please mention it.for general purpose first you see previous 10 years question and solve.then you will find an overview about gate paper pattern.

according to your department, you can choose the the GATE exam papers, less number of student will prepare the Instrumentation, so it contain less no of seats so it will be very much useful for you prepare for the exam , mainly from process control, control system , microprocessor , Industrial Instrumentation an so on. i will send you the book collect according to the subject wise it will be very much help ful for you ...

Dear friend,

There are no money demand to crack GATE exam, you have to pay only for application form of GATE exam.

You can pay to the institutes where you want to take preparation for GATE exam.

but i suggest you to take preparation for GATE through self study, & you should take admission in any test series conducted for GATE exam.

There are no any time limit for the preparation of GATE exam perfectly.

But you should start from second year of your degree, because in 3rd year you will appear in GATE exam, so before that you should complete your preparation very well.

since less no of students appear in (instrumention) stream and more no of students appear in ec stream
and i'm intrested in both which one to choose but i'm studyin in ec branch please any body suggest

GATE exam is not at all a very difficult exam to crack..

To crack GATE exam...the only mantra is to study hard and thorougly each and every paper...You have to be fundamentally very strong...

But this is not enough...Rigorous practice is very very important..
