Re: Indian Army's officer's post after B.Com with 66% marks, age 23?
hi!
I think you are eligible for joining Indian army at the age of 23 years & being a commerce graduate. The permanent commission provides opportunities for men with graduate degree to join army as officers through graduate direct entry scheme. The UPSC holds an all-India competitive examination, known as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), twice a year for University graduates or equivalent. Successful candidates can join Indian Military Academy for their pre- commission training. Age limit: Candidate should be in the age of 19-24. The course commences each year in the month of January and July. Interested candidates can apply in response to advertisement in March /April & Oct. Nov. Re: Indian Army's officer's post after B.Com with 66% marks, age 23?
Dear,
I think that you are not eligible for the Indian army because of the following two reasons:- --> Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19.5 years. --> The minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass students with PCM and you must have done with commerce. For more details , visit :- http://www.upsc.gov.in/. Thanks. |

No, there is no concession of any kind, neither in cutoffs, written exam or SSB. But in case of tie in SSB students from Sainik Schools or Military Schools are given preference.
