Complete Information About Civil Services Exams

The Civil Services Examination is conducted every year by the UPSC for IAS and IPS..

Several candidates appear for the exam from various parts of the country hence the exam is definitely tough..

The Civil Service Exam is conducted in 3 steps :-

>> Preliminary Round
>> Mains
>> Interview Round

Candidates who have cleared their graduation and are in the age limit of 21-30 years are only eligible for appearing for the exam (age relaxation for reserved categories)

The forms for the Prelims are generally available in February..

The Prelims are held in the mid of May and the Mains in the first week of October..

After you clear the Prelims and the Mains..you shall be called for the final interview and the results shall be declared just 2 weeks before the next Prelims..

In order to join the Indian Police Service,other than clearing the entrance exams you also need to qualify the medical examination for which you must have certain minimum physical conditions..

IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, to become an IPS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years of age with a upper age relaxation for the SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years.
