Information about civil services exam? I want to become an IPS officer
hello, can u please tell me about civil services exam (everything like subjects and all) as i wanted to become ips officer

IPS stands for INDIAN POLICE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.
Graduation completed students are eligible for this exam. ELIGIBILITY: Applicant should complete graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Age limit for this exam is 21-30 years. 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates Candidate should be a citizen of india. IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, to become an IPS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years of age with a upper age relaxation for the SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years. The selection is through three phases:- CSAT- CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST-PRELIMINARY EXAM CIVIL SERVICE MAIN EXAM PERSONAL INTERVIEW The candidate applying for IPS has to undergo a prescribed Physical Fitness Test. Height of General male candidate should be 165cm and that to female candidate should be 150cm which is 160cm for SC/ST/OBC male candidate and that to female should be 145cm. The civil service examination selection procedure in 3 stages: preliminary round main exam interview round IPS stands for Indian Police Service. Eligibility criteria: the candidate should be complete the graduation from any recognized university. The candidate should be citizen of india. The candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. The age relaxation for obc candidates is 3 years and the sc/st candidates is 5 years. Both male and female candidates are eligible to become IPS officer. The candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam.
