If you want to pursue Cost and Work Accountancy course, you must have passed higher secondary examination from a recognized board. In order to pursue the course, there is no requirements for any specific combination of subjects or minimum percentage of marks. Which means, irrespective of the marks obtained in the higher secondary examination and stream, you can pursue the course.

The registration for the course is opened throughout the year at every regional center of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Now, the course is divided into the following stages:

Foundation Course
Intermediate Course
Final Course
Management Training

If you have completed your bachelor degree program in any discipline, you will get complete exemption from the Foundation Course and hence, you will be able to enroll directly for the Intermediate Course.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India offers the program through both correspondence mode as well as through regular classes at its accredited study centers.

icwa is a professional course which is known as cost accounting it had 3 stages foundation,intermediate,final.if your qualification is 12th passed then you may apply for foundation and if graduate then apply for direct to intermediate to institute of icwa.

The work of cost and works Accountant includes budgeting, pricing policy, forward planning, monitoring company performance and efficiency and guiding managerial decisions by making financial forecasts. There are various projects given on internal audits and investigations which involve travelling and getting in touch with companies.

The ICWAI examinations are held in three stages:
-Foundation
-Intermediate
-Final
Exam is held twice in an year i.e. june and december

Cost and work Accounts course (icwa) is a correspondence kind a course conducted by Institute of costs and work accounts of India.
One can register for this course after passing 12th or equivalent examination.
The complete ICWA course comprises of three courses:
1.Foundation course
2.Intermediate course
3.Final course
You can register for anytime.
A graduation student can directly apply for intermediate course.
The exams are conducted twice a year.One in june and another in december month.
