we want the information about coming cpt exam in 2013 pls inform me fast that when we want to submit form and when will be the exam

CPT exams or Common Profiency tests are held in June and December each year

Next CPT exams would be held on 16th June 2013


Dates for the December 2013 CPT exams has still not been declared


Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply



In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General economics
Quantitative Aptitude

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is open only to those students who are already registered with the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The CPT exam is entry level for those students who want to make there career in Chartered Accountancy.The test consist of four subjects,
1.Accounting,
2.Mercantile Laws,
3.General Economics and
4.Quantitative Aptitude.

• Obtain the registration form along with a propectus from the regional branch of ICAI at your city or from the head office.
• You may also download registration form from the official website of ICAI.
• Registration is done throughout the year.
• The registration form can be submitted at the nearest regional branch or to the institutes offices as prescribed in the prospectus.

All The details regarding registration process, examination forms, etc. are available in the prospectus and will guide you at every stage.
You may also visit www.icai.org, the official website of ICAI to have all the information including the address of the regional offices, head offices etc.

CPT is an entrance exam for getting admission into chartered accountancy course. This test comprises four subjects;
* * Accountancy,
* * Mercantile laws,
* * General Economics and
* * Quantitative Aptitude.

The test is divided into two sessions and each session lasts for two hours.

CPT is an objective type test which takes place in the months of June and December every year .

Eligibility to Take CA CPT

> > You must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized institution.

> > You must be registered for Common Proficiency Test with Board of studies of Indian Chartered Accountancy of India.

> > If you have already registered for Professional Course, even then you are eligible for appearing in this test.

hey I am 12 commerce student of coming year 2014 and 2015 I want give cpt exam n I want to give cpt of June 2014 2015
and it is said that for cpt hsc result is too required n for that we have to apply for that before two months that is before April 1
but the hsc result comes in June only so how can I give an my 12 ka result for registration!??
