I want to write the VITEEE 2017 exam. Please give me information about it. Whatever you know just tell me, so that I can have advance knowledge.

VITEEE stands for VIT Engineering Entrance Examination. The exam is conducted for admission of eligible candidates in engineering courses at VIT. The application form for this examination is available from the month of November every year.

Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE 2017 :-

- The candidate must have passed intermediate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board of education.

- The candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in PCB/M in intermediate.

Selection of candidate is made based on their performance in the written examination, personal interview and counseling sessions.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs 940/- in favor of “VIT University” that should be payable at Vellore. The payment can be done via online mode that is net banking, debit card and credit card.The NRI candidates will have to pay 50 USD to apply online.
Candidates can also pay the fee by visiting the office. They will have to pay Rs. 990/-.

Exam Pattern :

Total marks : 125 marks.

No. of Questions : 125 questions

Question pattern : Objective type multiple choice questions.

Time duration 2:30 hours.

Marking Scheme : One mark for each correct answer. No negative marking for wrong answers.

VITEEE stands for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance examination. It is entrance examination conducted by VIT for admission of candidates into different disciplines of engineering. Candidates who wish to apply for this exam must have done 10+2 from any recognized board with PCM as compulsory subjects.

The minimum percentage of marks required to apply for VITEEE is 50% in 10+2 board examination. The notification for VITEEE has not been released officially by VIT yet. However, as per previous year trends, notification is generally released in November and examination is conducted in April every year.

*The online application form for VIT exam will come in December, 2016 for 2017 exam.

VIT University or VIT, formerly called Vellore Engineering College, is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act.

For this examination candidate candidate must have passed 12th with PCM/PCB from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination in 12th class is 50%. NIOS student are also eligible for VITEEE.

The intruseted candidates can either apply Online at www.vit.ac.in or Offline by obtaining the application form. The application fee for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is Rs. 940/-. This exam is normally held in the month of April of every year.

Eligibility criteria required to appear in VITEEE 2017 examination is specified below :-

=> You should have passed 12th standard or equivalent with aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology subjects and total aggregate of 50% marks in your 12th standard from a Government recognised board.

=> You should have born on or after 1st July, 1995 to be eligible to apply for VITEEE 2017 examination.

The VITEEE 2017 examination application forms will be available in November 2016 and the examination will be conducted in April 2017.

VITEEE stands for Vellore Institute of Technology and it is an entrance examination held for admission in undergraduate technical courses in VIT which is one of the best engineering college of India.

--> For appearing in the VITEEE 2017, you must have the qualifications given below :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying under 22 years by the 1st July 2017.

* You must have completed your higher secondary school degree course with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as your main subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized board. In case of SC/ST candidates marks in the qualification examination must be at least 50%.

--> The examination is held in CBT ( Computer Based Test ) mode only. The duration of examination is 2.5 hours. Also the examination includes 120 questions out of which 40 questions are from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology each.

--> Since the official date for VITEEE 2017 has been not announced so I am providing you the tentative dates on the basis of previous year trends which are as, date of filling the application form :- last week of November 2016 to the 2nd or 3rd week of March 2017 (ii) examination date :- 2nd week of April to 3rd week of April and (iii) the result can be expected by the last week of April 2017.

The VIT University conducts VITEEE Entrance Exam for admission in B.Tech Program. Viteee was founded in 1984.VIT University, established under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

For admission in VIT university you need to appear in entrance exam.The admission will be given on the basis of the candidate’s performance in VITEEE 2017.
