The Vellore Institute of Technology is one amongst the reputed universities in our country. Students are offered with a variety of courses by this institution. To get admittance to this institution, applicants need to appear for an admission test called the VITEEE. Upon clearing this exam, students can get admittance to the course of their choice. The admission is provided on the basis of the score the students get in the admission test.

Basic Eligibility for VITEEE

Students who wish to apply for the VITEEE ought to have finished their 10+2. Those who are applying for the finals can appear for the VITEEE too. Students who have finished their High School Certificate Examination from the Cambridge University are eligible to apply too.

Qualifying Examinations for VITEEE

Aspirants who are applying for the VITEEE should have a score of above 60 percent in Mathematics/Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the finals. Students need to produce the certificates at the time of admittance.

Age Qualification for VITEEE

Aspirants who are applying for the VITEEE must have been born on or after 1st of July, 1989. The date that is provided in the SSC certification will be considered as authentic. Students who fail to provide this certification at the time of admittance will not be considered and their candidature will be rejected.

Who can apply for VITEEE?

Students who are permanent citizens of the Indian subcontinent are eligible to apply for the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE). Foreign nationals who wish to appear for this exam must have the above mentioned qualifications. In addition to this they must possess a valid passport. They must also own a students visa that has been approved by the Government of India.

Eligibility for the Foreign Nationals/NRI/PIO for VITEEE

The qualification needed by a foreign candidate to appear for the VITEEE is a pass in the higher secondary exam. They need a score of above 60 percent marks. Aspirants must have learned Physics, Biology and Chemistry during their schooling period. Only those students who fulfill the entire required criterion will be considered eligible to apply for the B.Tech programs offered at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
