Preliminary Round Papers For IPS

The Indian Police Service Exam is conducted by the UPSC and is popularly known as Civil Services Exam

A candidate can appear for the Civil Services Exam only if :-

>> The candidate has completed his/her graduation from a recognized institution in any stream..

>> The candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years if belonging to the general category, 3 years and 5 years of age relaxation for OBC and SC/sT candidates respectively..

>> The general candidates have a maximum of 4 attempts, OBC candidates have 7 and SC/ST candidates have no limit on the number of attempts..

>> You also need to clear the medical examination for which you need to fulfill certain physical requirements..

You will have to clear :-

Preliminary Round consisting of 2 objective papers based on general awareness and aptitude..

Mains consisting of 9 subjective papers including your optional subjects and English..

Interview Round

Medical Examination Round

The Prelims shall be conducted on 19th May,2013

The forms for the Prelims shall be available from 2nd February,2013 to 4th March,2013..
