I am shortlisted for isro(assistant post) and i got call letter through the mail. How to prepare for that exam? please help me... kindly send me the syllabus and model question paper.. please reply me...

Refer to the books of 'upkar prakashan' or 'pratyogita darpan' or G.K.Publishers,you can get the syllabus as wel as previour years papers from that books.

Also try 'the competetive science vision' of pratyogita darpan and books of oswal publications.

for ISRO assistant post syllabus you must be eligible to sit in the examination conducted by them.you should have a degree of good college.
you must also refer to pratiyogita darpan and upkar prakashan which are monthly magazines .this will help you a lot .

the syllabus ias follows:
Linear Algebra: Matrix Algebra, Systems of linear equations, Eigen values and eigen vectors.
Calculus: Mean value theorems, Theorems of integral calculus, Evaluation of definite and improper integrals, Partial Derivatives, Maxima and minima, Multiple integrals, Fourier series. Vector identities, Directional derivatives, Line, Surface and Volume integrals, Stokes, Gauss and Green’s theorems.
Differential equations: First order equation (linear and nonlinear), Higher order linear differential equations with constant coefficients, Method of variation of parameters, Cauchy’s and Euler’s equations, Initial and boundary value problems, Partial Differential Equations and variable separable method.
Complex variables: Analytic functions, Cauchy’s integral theorem and integral formula, Taylor’s and Laurent’ series, Residue theorem, solution integrals.
Probability and Statistics: Sampling theorems, Conditional probability, Mean, median, mode and standard deviation, Random variables, Discrete and continuous distributions, Poisson, Normal and Binomial distribution, Correlation and regression analysis.
Numerical Methods: Solutions of non-linear algebraic equations, single and multi-step methods for differential equations.

Respected sir,I have completed B.Sc(computer science)through Pune University.I am very interested in space research.I have not good academic career because of some resons but now I am OK and having command on C,C ,JAVA,SQL,Php,Web designing.I have first class.If I have perfect practical knowledge as compared to my therotical papers marks then could i an eligible for post of assistant scientist?

you can apply in ISRO exam after your btech courses.

minimum 65% marks in btech is require to join in ISRO.

age limit 21-29.
