Jaypee Institute of Information Technology ,Noida (Black Listed)

In 18 January 2010 After the submission of Action Plan by HRD Ministry (Kapil Sibal) al most 44 Universities has been "De-Recognised" from Deemed to Be University". This action was taken because in 2008 a notice was send to all 130 Deemed Universities to regarding admissions, fees, introduction of new courses (including courses offered through private franchising under distance learning) and increase in their intake capacity without corresponding increase in the infrastructure.

Out of which 44 Fails to do so, and the HRD Ministry also found many Malpracticely which forced to do so.

From this strict action of Government the main Question arises is-----

What about almost 2 Lacs students studing there??? But remember Government can never be so Cruel.

Ans) Universities which had been De-recognised should revert status quo ante as an affiliated college of the state university of jurisdiction so that students would be able to complete their ongoing courses and obtain degree from the affiliating university.

The students will get degree from Institutes where these deemed universities are affiliated. So the current students need not to worry from this.

The degree of students who has received degree from these deemed university will remain valid.

Students of all these 44 deemed universities can migrate to other colleges and universities. Deemed University receives funds from the government. These universities will pay from these funds for the migrations of students.

So, dear there is nothing to worry about it, just study hard.

Regards

no, it will have no effect on the recognisation of your bachelors degree and your recognisation will not be cancelled ever in the future also.our government is not so cruel. you will get your degree which will be recognised by every company.

Even if a University loses its status the present students studying in that University would not get affected. Either there will be an option to continue the course there itself which would be applicable for the present students or they can migrate to other Universities which operate in that jurdistiction. So you need not worry about it. No acts are passed with retrospective effect. The implication of the same would be for future batches only.

Yes Jaypee Noida has lost its deemed status due to some reasons which is not known as government didnt mention it. The reason can be many like
Management structure was an issues
Violation of the guidelines
unnecessary high fees

and many more. I dont think there will be any effect on the present students who will be studying in this university

As said by Mr Kapil Sibbal that they will surely wont let this harm the students prospects. All university students will get the degree.

So dont worry work hard and try to get into the top colleges so that you dont have to think of these colleges

Any Institute once after lossing its Deemed status can not Re-Deem the same Valuation, but that doest means that particular Institute is no longer remain Good for Imparting Education.

After lossing its status it has become a Normal Institute as it was before being a Deemed University, and nothing else. In future if the Institute is able to re stable its reputation.

Courses are still affiliated and approved one, Institute has still permission to run as it is.

But since you dont have taken Admission yet, you can leave that one and can opt for other one.

After lossing Deemed status a slight problem will be there in Placement otherwise no effect on education.

But if even a single hesitation is there in your Mind, Just leave it and opt for other one.

Its true that, Jaypee Noida has lost its deemed status but you dont worry, you will definately got your degree from this institute only.

But it is true that, once the uiversity or colleges losing its Deemed Status, then it will
effect on the image of colleges. No, one interested to get admission in such type of
colleges.

But, if you dont get admission in this colleges, then please ignore this college. But if you
have a student of this college, then definately dont worry, you will get your degree, after completing your course. It will not effect on your degree......

Just Deemed Status of Jaypee has been De-Recognised, rest of all is fine.

Institute is still approved from AICTE and UGC.

Dont worry about your future, just complete your studies.

J.P.Institute of Engineering & Technology

It is fully recognised by UGC and all of its courses are approved by AICTE.

If anybody have any doubt he/she can visit thae offcial website of AICTE for list of approved Engineering college along with there dergees HERE

Or download the list of Approved institute from this link- http://www.aicte-india.org/downloads...ech_degree.htm

Since this link contains list of thausands of institutes including JP it will take some time to open.

Hi.

Jaypee is a very big name in our country, and so just due to some internal problems, the UGC has taken away the deemed status. Infact it had taken away, but now almost everything is back to normal.

I must tell you, that all the students who were admitted in this university would be unaffected now and in future also as you were under that times deemed status at the time when you took admissions in this college.

So you don't actually have to worry about anything.

Regards

JIIT, Noida is stripped of it's deemed status and will now operate under MTU, Noida.

After some time it can get a state university status like Shobhit, Galgotia, Sharda universities.

I have been living in Delhi for the last many years, and have seen Jaypee grow from strength to strength. What started as just another engineering college a few years back is now a brand among both aspirants and recruiters!

As far as deemed status is concerned, it doesnt really matter. Jaypee Noida is a brand and will remain so leading it excellent placement season every year

Moreover, yes, its name will more or less be cleared from the list because of huge political Backup and obviously the JAYPEE group backing up the college
