Jaypee Business School 2011 MBA
Jaypee Business School every year undertakes admission of candidates for its two year based Management course at the post graduate level. The Institute forms a part of the Elite Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University that is owned by the highly prestigious Jaypee Group of Industries. JIIT University has been recognized as a deemed University by the University Grant Commission. Although Jaypee Business School is a relatively new type of B-School that follow new norms and innovative style of teaching, but has managed to gain immense popularization due to connection with the JIIT University. The Institute has been associated with state of the art Infrastructure along with excellent placement opportunities to the candidates.
Every year, the Institute runs a complete as well as methodical cycle of short listing candidates as according to the scores they have achieved in the CAT/XAT/MAT exams and candidates who belong to the NRI genera are selected as according to the marks obtained in the GMAT test. Thus, candidates have to necessarily appear for the CTA/XAT/MAT or GMAT, as for NRI based candidates, in order to bag an admission in the Institute. The candidates who have been selected in the pre selection round through the assessment of their CAT/XAT/MAT score have to go through a second set of selection that consist of Group Discussion as well as Personal Interview in order to achieve the final admission in the Institute itself.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any of the disciplines or its equivalent from any of the recognized institutes of India with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in their Graduation. Candidates who will be appearing for their final year exams are also eligible to apply.

The forms for MBA program of Jaypee Business School will be available directly from Jaypee Business School. Candidates can also obtain the form by sending a request for the form along with a demand draft. The from can also be downloaded through the website www.jbs.ac.in
Important Dates:
Last Date for Receipt of Completed Forms: last week of February, 2011
Personal Interviews and Group Discussion: 2nd week of March, 2011
Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/MAT/XAT scores. Foreign/NRI candidates can apply through GMAT. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT, Personal Interview, Group Discussion and Graduation Marks.
