Re: Job opportunities and future prospects of M.Sc. in medical
Dear Student,
1.It depends that in which fiel you are going to do Masters. For example: M.Sc (master of science) courses in medical subjects including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology and pharmacology . 2.You can also pursue higher studies, do a PhD in specialized field after that. 3.there are lots of scope in phrarma company or any biotech. company.but this depend on in which field you are doing masters. regards |

Re: Job opportunities and future prospects of M.Sc. in medical
YES Freind it is right MCI accept MBBS And MSC as proff and does not take msc candiiates
If you go for a mSC in medical then you would be eligible to apply for lecturship but MBBS students will be given more prefrence in lecturship |

Re: Job opportunities and future prospects of M.Sc. in medical
hi guys..i would like to share this.please think and re think if you want to join into msc medical courses.i took my msc medical degree from a reputed university..but with experience and suffering i tell you don't ever join into courses which sound great.actually there are not and future is uncertain.these courses are meant to benefit the college treasury but not the student in any way.the syllabus is vague and insufficient to enter a industry other than teaching.if you are lucky you may get a teaching job with lots of discrimination from your colleague MD's...and you won't get the pleasure of study either as you always will be considered as disqualified group of students by the so called professional faculty doctors.this is being shared with a lot of pain..don't end up in hell..wishing you all a careful planned career..

Re: Job opportunities and future prospects of M.Sc. in medical
Actually, all MDs are trying to show that the M.Sc. condidates don't know anything being a non-clinical lecturer...But after experience, even m.sc. candidates are also teaching clinical things very nicely as I have seen ...and Theory class taken by m.sc. lecturer is very good......& I found better than some MDs Professors in some places....that's what MDs are jelousy towards the M.Sc. Candidates...and creating problems for m.sc. lecturer...Even I have seen so many professors are not able to teach the student conceptwise......just explaining whatever they know.... Being a lecturer or professor it is not only necessary that how much he or she knows about suject matter but he or she should also think, how student will learn the subject conceptwise, not by memorising and getting high scores in exams.....Only scoring marks does not show that one student is good in a subject, concept of any subjet is most important...thank you!

Re: Job opportunities and future prospects of M.Sc. in medical
Never do MSc in Medical Microbiology , there is no job opportunity for that course in this world, a waste course.............. waste of time, money............ few points to ponder are
1, Medical council of India (MCI) and the MD doctors group do not want these graduates in medical colleges, 2. No laboratories give sufficient salary unless you are having 5-10 years of exp, for a living 3. Pharma and biotech firms do not need such graduates unless they are having experience in the field the company is specialising in e,g Vaccine firms ask for exp in the respective field from where do freshers get such a exp? 4.you do not give practical training in vaccinology in any of the colleges. So my countrymen pls do not take MSc in Medical Microbiology........... |
