I had completed B.tech(IT) in Aug2009
and now i m in search of job in defence(army or airforce or navy or any other related defence) but whenever i search there is only job for mechanical,civil,aeronautical etc.
so please guide me for where i can apply

friend,there are very few posts for IT engineers in army, and all the communication is looked after by their signals department consisting mainly of electronics/electrical engineers.but, air-force and navy do advertise posts for IT officer in their engineering and administrative branches....

you can join defense after Btech just by giving CDS exam.

in which you are eligible,
and after being selected you must get job.

ya sure you can join defence but it will be better to join navy because they provide more facility. you can be selected as officer post. but first you will have to take care of your medical test.

the exams are conducted by UPSC..

but there is no such different papers for IT department, you have to give the exam in the syllabus of ECE...

You can join the Defence after completing your graduation through the following exams..

CDS(Combined Defence Services) for the graduate students...

UES(University Entry Scheme) fro the technical wings..

SSC(Short Service Commissioned) also for the graduate students.....

So apply for any one of the above mentioned exam,it will help you to go through the defence services...

You are from IT so in defense very few seats for IT see employment news regularly ..
when you get information then send application form to ARMY,AIR FORCE,NAVY office they
call you for SSB
and SSB is 5 day testing they see how you think and are you fit for defense..
normally they test your reasoning,picture perception ..
and some physical task..
prepare hard

yes you can do
either you can be placed in communication or in controlling units.
but it is better for you to go in software companies as the world is dependent on computers.and you are the backbone of this progressing word.
