as you have got only A and B certificate ,Therefore this certificate wouldn't be


helpful for you. A student who have C certificate of NNC is got 10% reservation

during the selection of defense services .

ncc c certificate have great value it may help lot in defence recritment rallies it is also helpful in other interviews as a ncc certificate adds to your personality and dicipline

As you are doing engineering now , then after completion of your graduation you have to appear in exams like - CDS(combined defense force),
UES(university entry scheme),EKT(engineering knowledge test) to join in Indian defense...

generally they ask for NCC certificate 'C'...
they have some 10% seat reserved for those candidates who have this certificate..

if you have that then you will get some advantage..

they don't want NCC certificate 'A' or 'B'...

NCC Special Entry Scheme: This scheme is meant for all those who have acquired NCC "C" certificate after two years in it at senior level.Qualification must be anything Bachelor in any field or Engineering.This entry scheme occurs when required,therefore keep reading Employment news always.

This is a special and scheme for NCC certificate holders.

Since, it is made clear by the authorities that NCC "C" certificate is the requirement, so there is nothing for "A" and "B" holders.

But apart from this you can also join INA through other normal schemes. There also your NCC "Certificate" are taken into account and will be quite beneficial.

Holding NCC certificate is a bonus point while joining Indian Army. Since you have only A and B certificate, you cannot go for NCC special entry scheme. A and B certificate will be sure help for you when you write CDS exam. My advice would be , try to get the C certificate also, then you will more opportunities.

NCC certificates are the good way or you can say special scheme for entering in the Indian Defence services. As you have only A and B level certificate so this is not possible for you to go through the special scheme.
For entering through the special scheme you must have the three certificates of NCC as A,B,C. So try to get the C level certificates and then apply.
