I think that you want to opt for Botany as your subject in CSIR net. For this you just have to make command on your subject. In it there are three papers. Paper first and second is of objective type whereas third is of descriprtive type. It is here you have to score over others. You can even appear for the exam in your final year of PG.
So prepare well.

if you are really interested in cracking jrf then you can join an organization named Biotecnika. they conduct online coaching classes on the website www.biotecnika.org
if you want to prepare for the exam then you should know all the aspects of life sciences and more detailed aspects of plant sciences. this is because you are applying for the entrance exams of a junior scientist so have to know all aspects of life sciences.

The projects which you can take in your 12 biology are working models of heart or any other parts, hand made model of any cell like plant or animal.
You can also select any projects involving experiments like checking food adult ration in different food materials. .
So select any of your choice~!!!!!!!!
