which language courses to learn after MCA 5th sem for s/w engineer job

There are many option in SOFTWARE ENGINEER JOB like you want to go in development side or testing side or in adminstrator side or in networking side and based on that you need to work ....

since you didnt mention you field on interest..so in development field you can do languages course like .net or java or c++ or pearl or scripting languages

and coming to testing you can do manual and automation testing course

and coming to networking courses you can do MSCE and CCNA course..

if you want to be a software engineer you must have good knowledge of OOPS and java.

If you are very good in Aptitude and C MNC will hire you.

To learn languages is not enough to get a job as software engineer in IT industries. You should have good command over languages and your coding skills must be strong.
As you asked its too late for learning languages. You must have learned languages from the Ist semester and you are talking to learn languages after Vth semester.But even now you can do but you have to do hard to get a job as software engineer.
I think you should learn and command over C,C++, Java core and java adv. and .net as well as you are required to learn databases as sql and oragle etc. so that you can get entry as a software engineer.
Well to become a software engineer is not too easy. One who can give all the efforts and can do a regular practice and practice that can reach there.So dont waste your time and just begin your practice for every day.
When you find that you have command over the above languages than try to make little little programs as you can find around your self as you can make a program of yoiur school or college data which is required from you, ever you have gone hospital so think which kind of data is required there, you can also take a restaurant and hotel data.
One more thing i want to tell you that wherever you go try to get all the information about that system whether it is any college, hospital, institute,school or college or any departmental store if you can. This will help you to make a database.

For working as an engineer(software ) you must have the knowledge of following languages:
(1)C
(2)C++
(3).NET
(4)JAVA
(5)ORACLE
Apart from these if you have any additional knowledge of any more language then it would be beneficial for you.like
1.VISUAL BASIC 6
2.VB.NET

It is better to go in one direction.Either by programming language or by the databases.
To go in programming language field we should perfect with c++,corejava,java.
for database we have to thorough with oracle and sql server.
We should be thorough with them.

I think it will be better if you learn Core java and also advanced java in MCA 3rd year...
It would be very effiective for your career...

You have many option for programming language courses.There are many jobs are present in market.You can get a good job in mnc companies.The posts are security admistrator,database adminstrator,networking admistrator,software devoloper.
So if you have great knowledge about a perticular field and you have command on a perticular language than its very good for you to get a good job.
If you want to do course on a perticular field than you can choose java,.net languages which are most benificial programming language in now these days.
Java is a very good programming language have so much scope in now these days.Many multinational companies have requirment for java programmer.

.Net is also a very good option for you.If you have interest in web devolopment or web applications than you should choose .net language.

The other languages are php,orracle which are also better for your future.
So its depend on your interest.
