Hi

As you would well know that Engineering in India is very tough and so the competition is always very high and stiff. So in such scenario there has to be entrances which can select candidates and offer them seats in the Engineering Colleges as per their merit and not by any other means.

Now WB JEE is ofcourse one of the largest and the best Entrances of the WB state in India. Its conducted every year in the month of May/June. Its not one of the toughest I would say and there is a domicile which is needed for the students to apply in this exam. This means that there should be some permanent address of the applicant if he/she is applying for this exam.

Eligibility is that only SCIENCE students can apply for this exam and no others. It would consist of one paper which would be of 3 hours duration and have subjects : PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY AND MATHEMATICS. So if someone is not from Science stream, then he/she would not be able to clear this exam and is not even eligible also.

Hereby I am uploading a few WB JEE last years question papers. I would request you to download them and try to solve them by yourself so that you get to know about the questions, pattern, types of questions asked, and weightage of each topics in the subjects.
