SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

~To give this exam you need to be a higher secondary passed out with not less than 60% of marks at 10+2 level. There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

~A regular diploma holder can also apply for this provided it has been done from a recognized university and its duration is not less than 2 years. 60% of marks is required in this case as well.

~After completing graduation if you wish to apply then you need to get the pass marks only since the minimum percentage to obtain has not been mentioned. You can do graduation in any discipline you want.

~The lower age limit for applying for this exam is 18 years and the upper age limit for general category candidates is 28 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

~For SC/ST candidates there is age relaxation of 5 years, for OBC candidates it is 3 years and for the physically handicapped candidates there is an age relaxation of 10 years.

~Selection Procedure basically includes:- 1) Written Examination and 2) Personal Interview. On getting the qualifying marks you will be called for the interview session depending on the vacancies available. Final selection will be based on the marks you have got both in the written exam and personal interview.

~For the exam questions will be mainly objective types and therefore conceptual. They all will be of class XII standard. So if you are well accustomed with that then you will score well. There is negative marking too. So answer cautiously.

~Scheme Of Examination:-



~You need to get minimum 40% of marks to qualify in the written exam. It is 35% in case of reserved category candidates. A maximum of three people is generally called for one post vacant.
