Himachal Pradesh Pre Medical Examination

Introduction :-
HP PMT is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. This a examination of highly competitive nature as seats are so limited compared to the number of candidates attempt HP PMT.

Eligibility Criteria :-

• A candidate should pass 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
• Minimum marks required for gen category candidates in PCB is 50%.
• SC/ST/OBC students should secure at least 45% marks in PCB.
• Candidates must have English language in 10+2 study.
• Those who are within age limit of 17-25 years can apply.
• Candidate who are appearing for 10+2 can apply. They must produce proof of pass with securing at least minimum marks required.

Pattern :-
Paper consist of objective type question of total 200 marks. Negative marks is awarded for each incorrect response. Allotted time to write the paper is 120 minutes.

Date of Notification : Around March

Application form is gettable from university examination counter. You can also request form and information bulletine by post. Examination fee is Rs. 1500 for gen candidates and Rs. 750 for reserved category candidates. Those who are requesting form by post, need to pay Rs. 100 extra.
