CA CPT is the Chartered Accountancy Common Proficiency Test.
CPT is considered to be the entry level stage of CA course. This test is conducted twice every year by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in the month of June and December respectively. You can apply for this test after completing 10+2 from a recognized board. It is an objective test consisting of 200 questions from Accountancy, Mercantile law, Economics and Quantitative aptitude. To clear this test, you must score at least 30% marks in each subject and overall 50% aggregate. The last date to apply online for the CA CPT June 2015 exam was 28/04/2015. So, you will have to wait for the December 2015 exam. |
