Last Date for Submission of GATE form

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted once in a year for admissions into the top M.Tech colleges in India like IITs,NITs,BITS,IISc and many more..

The last date for submission of the GATE form is Monday,24th October,2011

You can hand over your GATE form at your respective zonal GATE office..

The date for online examination is Sunday,29th January,2012 and the date for offline examination is Sunday,12th February,2012

GATE Stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and this examination was conducted by IIT's Every year and to apply for this examination your Bachelor degree course in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture OR completed your Master degree course in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent.

Those who are appearing the final year course are also eligible for GATE Examination.

The Online Application submission was already started form 12/Sep/2011 and the last date of apply for this examination was 17/Oct/2011.

So, Please apply for GATE Examination soon before the last date and for more Information please check the official website -

Dear friend,

The eligibility criteria for GATE exam:-

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

(b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

(c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only)

(d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs).

From this year only final year student and pass out student are eligible for GATE exam.

The last date for submission form is-- 17.10.2011

The candidate should have a master degree in engineering/statistics/mathematics/computer science from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Those in the final year of engineering degree can also apply for the examination.

GATE is an examination conducted by the association of 7 IITs and the IISc, bangalore.

They conduct it for the selection of students for their post graduation level.

Based on your score, the institutes that you can get admitted into are:-

2. IISc

3. NITs

4. Other premier colleges including government colleges.



ELGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. B.Tech pass-out or 4th year.

2. Masters in any branch of science, Maths, Statistics, computer applications.

APPLYING:-

The gate exam is applied online, by which you can get a challan and a form.
you have to pay the required fees and send it along the printed form.

they have recently postponed the last date for applying due to the high rush of candidates. you can apply it, and send the application so that it receives at their office before 28th october

You can either prepare for the exam yourself, or approach a coaching institute.

I guess this would be sufficient. and once you start your preparation, hang onto it.
try your level best. atleast 3 months preparation would be necessary.

today 24 oct 2011 i submited the challan to the bank...already fillup the form online but.....today i failled to submit form with challan to the office... can i have tomorrow to submit form..
