date of notification:02.01.2010

last date of reciept of application forms:01.02.2010

date of prelim. exam:23.05.2010

date of mains:29.10.2010

Notification for it has been released in the employment news dated-26.12.2009-01.01.2010.

The last date for reciept of application through post is 01.02.2010.

UPSC has on 2nd of Jan (Saturday) issued notification for the Civil Services exam 2010. The last date for receipt of application forms for UPSC Civil Services Examination, 2010 is February 1, 2010. The one-day preliminary written examination will be held on May 23, 2010 i.e. Sunday. Candidates having a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification will be eligible to apply for the test. The age limit is 21-30 years on August 1, 2010.

the important dates related to IAS exam this year is as follows:

date of notification of the civil services(prelims.)--02.01.2010
last date of reciept of the application forms---01.02.2010
date of prelims. exam--23.05.2010
date of mains exam---29.10.2010

the notification has already appeared in the employement newspapers dated 02.01.2010,so refer that for more
information regarding availibilty of forms,places and number of seats.

you will have to send the application form to:

all applications must reach the
"Secretary, Union Public Service Commission,
Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road,
New Delhi - 110069"

either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 1st February, 2010.

Last date for reciept of completed application is 01.02.2010.

Civil Services Exam is conducted every year by UPSC in two rounds: Preliminary & Mains. Those who qualify in the preliminary round are called for mains examination.
Just wait for the Notification which should be 1st week of December, 2009
Last date of submission of application form probably will be 1st week of January, 2010

in the EMPLOYEMENT NEWS notification is comes on dec 26,2009-jan 1,2010.

the last date of filling up of application form is 1st of February 2010, you can appear for the preliminary exam on 23rd of may 2010.
the main exam is conducted on 29th October 2010.

and the exams are held in may

If You are talking about the 2011 Examination, Declaration by UPSC has not yet happened. Do check in Employment news paper in the month of December.

Normally the Notificaiotn will come in the month of December. And applications made available in the month of Jan. Exam in May every year. You need to post it to the UPSC, the address will be printed in the form.

march 21,2011 is last date. you can apply though both in online and offline.
