Can I get admission in 2 years Diploma (lateral entry) after completing ITI, and this lateral entry Diploma after ITI is applicable for all government jobs like Junior Engineers and others or not? And, this diploma is equivalent to 3 years diploma or not?

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR DIPLOMA THROUGH LATERAL ENTRY :
1)Candidate must have completed his ITI course from a govt recognized institute.
2)Candidate must be good in Physics,Chemistry and mathematics or you can say science subjects because mathematics is the backbone of engineering.
COURSES OFFERED IN LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME :
Electrical engineering
Mechanical engineering
Electronics engineering
Automobile engineering
Civil engineering
Computer science engineering
Lateral entry scheme diploma are equivalent to 3 year diploma courses.Government vacancy where diploma holders require you can apply for that post.
