NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.

If you have completed Masters degree from recognized university then you are applicable for NET exam .Required marks criteria for NET exam is 55% in masters degree.5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate .Final year of Masters degree candidate can apply here .

Age criteria for NET Exam:-

i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years . Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .

ii) Lectureship : There is no upper age limit .

NET stands for
National
Eligibility
Test.

NET exam conducted by the University Grants Commission two times in a year.

Eligibility details:-

The candidate should have to complete Master's degree with atleast 55% of marks from a recognised university.

5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

Applicant must be an Indian origin.

Final year master's graduation persuing students are also eligible.


Age criteria for JRF(Junior Research Fellowship):-

The candidates maximum age should be 28 years and no minimum age limit for JRF exam.

Three years relaxation for OBC candidates,

Five years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Age criteria for Lectureship:-

No age limit.
