Re: List of Colleges offering LLB course in Correspondence?
Correspondence LLB degree is not equally valuable to full time degree. The reason being that Bar Council of India does not recognize correspondence LLB degree. Therefore it holds no or very little value.
I think this should be enough for you not to apply for LLB course through correspondence. If yo still went ahead and completes the LLB course via correspondence then you will not be allowed to register with Bar Council of India. Which means you can not practice in the court as lawyer. However you will be able to work as legal advisor but what is the point of having law degree if you can't fight cases in the court. This is why my advice to you is that if you want to become lawyer then please choose full time course. You are presented with two options: BA LLB LLB If you have completed 12th then go for BA LLB but if you have completed graduation then please choose LLB course. BA LLB Eligibility 1. Candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognized university. 2. At least 50 percent marks in 12th board. 3. Minimum of 45 percent marks in case of SC/ST candidate. 4. Age limit is 20 years. 5. Age limit for SC/ST is 22 years. LLB Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any discipline. 2. Minimum of 45 percent marks. 3. In case of SC/ST, only 40 percent marks are required. 4. The upper age limit is 30 years. 5. Five years relaxation is given to SC/ST. |

Re: List of Colleges offering LLB course in Correspondence?
As far as my knowledge LLB thru correspondence is not valid and recognised by Bar Council of India to practice as an Advocate. Many here gave names of colleges offering LLB thru correspondence, please note that no such college offer LLB thru correspondence, it is different law related specialization courses and not LLB per se. Hence don't get misguided and waste your time and money.
