i am doing my btech in electrical and electronics engg,i wish to go for mtech rather than job,what specialisation should i take to have a better life(both economic and intresting) in future?

every M.Tech specialization is good. but you should go according to you interest. so of good specializations are
VLSI
Digital electronics
MOS technology
some transformaer related specialization
electronics devices etc.

i think it is better to choose your specialization also according to the institution where you are taking admission. because in each institution each specialization is not available. also all specialization does not have good faculty. you should choose your paper in the way in which you have interest, the course is available in the institution and also the faculty of the course good enough.

what are specialization courses name for embedded system ?

U can go for VLSI, Embedded electronics,digital electronics, Analog electronics etc.

As you are doing btech in electrical and electronics then it would be better for you that you should carry on your btech subject because you could hold your knowledge tightly with advance and better knowledge in your area.
Electrical and electronics have a large and better zoom in near future.

There are many colleges offering M.tech courses for B.tech EEE students.The courses are;-

Power Electronics
Electrical machines
Control Systems
Power Systems
High Voltage Engineering

In the present scenario Power Electronics is the best.But,its always better that you a choose a course of your interest which will help you better.Go through GATE and score well so that you get placed in a good college.

Hi,

M.Tech is a course of studying a particular subject in very detail. In your B.Tech there would be some subjects that would have been very interesting to you.

So you have to select the specialization that was very interesting to you.

There are many specializations for both electronic side and as well as electrical side.

Nothing as economic, it depends on the college you do your course.

But doing M.Tech in a well recognized college is good. So choose according to that.

after b.tech in electronics you can choose VLSI , sattelite communication as your specialization in M.TECH.

NITIE is a very good option which provides placement with avergae package 10 lakh per annum. We have seen a trend over the years with top rankers of GATE preferring NITIE over places like IIT-Bombay and IISc. For the academic year of 2010-12 alone the course saw rank 1 from Mechanical, Industrial and Agricultural Engineering stream choosing NITIE. Also, a major section of students in the course came with a percentile of above 99(general category).
The admission application process for this year will begin shortly from 21st February 2011 for the 2011-13 batch.

I done my BE in Electronics and Communication I have confuse between two specialization for M tech one is Power electronics In Electrical Engineering Department and other id VLSI Design in Electronics department Please suggest me which specialization i will preferred for M Tech. after b-tech (eee) mtech is best option are not?

you can pursue either high voltage engineering, power systems, nuclear engineering as they are going to face tremendous demand in future.
