Which are the main subjects in Intermediate for Aerospace Engineering?

Could you please tell me whether I can take Computer Science after class 10th in Intermediate? I want to study Aerospace Engineering for my graduation so which subject combination should I opt in Intermediate? Shall I choose Computer Science?

Hi,
Maths and Physics are the major subjects you would be in well versed condition to take up Aerospace engineering course.
Most of the topics are covered in physics and calculating the angles and positions will be important.
so if you covered all the topics in Maths and Physics, you can shine in your dream Aerospace engineering

Hello,

Do your +2 in MPC or diploma in Mechanical specialisation. Then there are two options:

1. Take up Aeronautical engineering for your BTech
2. Take up Mechanical engineering for your BTech. subsequently go for MS in Aeronautical engineering at IISc or IIT Kanpur.

Hope it helps!

Good Luck

To be eligible to pursue Aerospace Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board. You have to pursue Intermediate PCM stream and need to appear in engineering entrance examinations like EAMCET, IIT,, SRMEEE, etc.,. You have to appear and qualify the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process to get admission for pursuing Aerospace Engineering course.

Yes, you can take Computer Science in 11th and 12th standard along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as primary subjects. Studying computer science will add an extra benefit for you. As you will be studying programming language like C, C++, Java in 11th and 12th. So, the same you will be studying in first year of your graduation.

Hence, it will be beneficial for you if you are studying it once again to grasp it deeply.

To pursue Aerospace Engineering in B.Tech, you will have to choose Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as primary subjects in 11th and 12th.

After qualifying engineering entrance exam, you will have to choose Aerospace Engineering as preferred branch during counseling.

The required eligibility to get admission in Aerospace engineering course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board in PCM as main paper.

So, if you have passed 12th in PCM then you are eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in the course.

Candidates after qualifying in JEE examination are eligible to get admission in best institutes for the course.

Since, you are interested in pursuing degree course in Aerospace Engineering, so you need to opt for Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects for your intermediate studies as the minimum education required to pursue degree in engineering in any discipline is the same.

In case you are interested in computer science, then you can for the same subject as an additional subject for your intermediate degree course.
