Common proficiency test is the simple way to have an entry in CA. The test will be of 200 marks and divided into four areas. Accounting constitutes of 60 marks, General Economics of 50 marks, mercantile laws for 40 marks and that of quantitative aptitude constitute 50 marks. The quant paper constitutes questions from the school level exams and one can refer the competitive exam question for reference. Some of the areas in quant are ratios, logarithms, interest, differentiations and integration etc.

CA is considered as a hard nut to crack but you can easily crack it if you concentrate in the subject and you should also try to acquire some knowledge in the field of maths and accounts and you should be strong in the basics of maths. It will surely take some time for you to get settled in the job,but you can earn more money when compared to other profession.
Good Luck. |
