what is the maximum age for any government job?

Hello,
The age limit is not same for all the jobs in the government sector. It varies. It may happens that for some jobs your age is more than the upper age limit required for that job and at the same time, you are eligible for the other posts or jobs because of their different age limit. Here is the list of some government jobs and their required age limit.

Bank Clerk: 18 to 28 year

Bank PO: 20 to 30 year

Railway: 18 to 33 year

IAS: 21 to 30 year

IPS: 21 to 35 year

SSC CGL: 21 to 27 year
SSC LDC/DEO: 18 to 27 year

Teaching Sector: 21 to 35 year

All other Organisations' age limit is different, it
may be 18 to 30 or 18 to 28 year. So you should keep in mind the age limit of the exam for which you are going to appear. Prepare well to achieve a good job in government sector.

Government jobs are considered to be the one of the brilliant job option for mainly the indian candidates.There are a number of jobs under government sectors among which which are at reputed & respected posts while other are at small sector.


The government jobs conducts an entrance exam to recruit candidates for different posts and to appear for that entrance exam you need to satisfy certain general eligibility conditions as follow :


--you need to satisfy general educational qualifications

-you need to satisfy age criteria as

a.in maximum of the cases age limit is within 21-35 years or in between

b.in some of the cases relaxation is too there as :

--for SC/ST : 5 years
--for OBC : 3 years.

municipal
scientists
defense services
civil services
investigation agencies
doctors etc.

NDA exam age limit:

16.5 to 19 years.

CDS Age limit:

19 to 24 years.

Civil Service Examinations Age Limit:

21 to 30 years.

RELAXATION:

3 years for OBC

5 years for SC/ST.

10 years for Physical Handicapped.

Bank Clerk Age Limit:

18 to 28 years.

Bank PO Age limit:

21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation is applicable.

This type all Government jobs age criteria is different.

Civil Service Exam - 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved category candidate

yes you are..if you have a good intelligency and take well coaching you can apply for IAS.

There will be number of job opportunities in Government sector. One can apply for public sector job opportunities right from 12th class.

However it would be better if you complete Graduation before applying for Government job positions.

The required age criteria that is required for the candidates will be varied from one position to other position.

However for many of the jobs, it will be 21-30 years to apply for.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.

Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

For the candidates with physical disabilities, the relaxation in upper age limit will be upto 10 years.

You did not mention the highest level of academic qualification and the age criteria that you should possess.
