Dear sir, Can you explain about EBC. I want to know what is EBC and who will come in this category? If you have proper information, please share.

EBC stands for Economically Backward Class. Candidate's whose family annual income is less than one lakh rupees and does not belong to SC, ST and OBC category are considered under EBC category.

For example, candidates who belong to OC category and family annual income is less than Rs. 1 lakh then, they are considered as EBC category candidates. The respective state or central government helps the EBC category students by providing fee exemption or scholarship for pursuing their higher studies.

I have taken admission in Indian maritime university Mumbai for BSc nautical sci , in 2016 .I have completed my 1st year in June 2017. I have not get information about EBC scholarship during admission in 2016 ,but now I get informed by my friend . So I have question that can I apply for EBC scholarship 2017-18 ? I am studying in 2nd year. Please inform me..

I have EBC certificate,,do I come under general category

Can i apply for ebc my income certificate is of another state

My income is 800500,can I eligible to ebc

Can more than 2 girls from same guardian eligible to apply for this scheme

EBC means Economically Backward Classes

Who do not belongs to any Disadvantage social category such as Scheduled Caste, OBC other backward class,ST schedule tribe.

And those family whose annual income is less than 1 lac belong to EBC.

Those open caste are eligible for this
