After 15 years of service a defense person will get a certificate which states that he is equivalent to degree...and he can apply for a job in govt and public sector where degree is the qualification. Banks central govt and other state govt are accepting this..is kerala psc accept this....for a post where min educational qualification is degree...?

I am matric pass. can i join for Ded course after 15 yrs military service.

My civil qualification is matric and i have been retired for army service in the rank of junior commissioned officer after rendering 30 yrs service duly issued with defence graduation cert. My basic pay rs.14090/- grade pay 4600/- at the time of retirement. Hencr, i request you to confirm whether i am eligible to apply for post of assistant whose basic pay rs.9300/- & grade pay rs.4200/- as per employment news 23-29 may 2015 (kv sangathan).

Is military certificate of 15 years of service is equivalent to degree for applying in Psc job, applicable only for graduates from regular university ?
