My son was born in April 1999 and is studying cbse XII now. He will be appearing for Class XII cbse board exam in 2016. Is he eligible to appear for Engineering Entrance Exams conducted by KEAM, CUSAT, AMU etc in 2016. Please provide me the details at the earliest.

As per age criteria, your son is eligible for engineering entrance exam 2016.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for Engineering Entrance exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates. You can apply consecutively for 3 years.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Yes, your ward is eligible to appear for the entrance examination for the admission in the Engineering colleges. The admission in most of the institution is on the basis of the JEE examination conducted by the CBSE every year

But even some of them conducts their own entrance test for the admission. Mainly there is no age criteria to appear for the examination. The eligibility to appear in the examination:-

* Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or appearing the board examination.
* Candidates must have PCM as the main subject in the board examination.

Few of the institution have limitations of minimum 60% in the PCM where as there are also limitations on the age criteria. The maximum age limit to appear for the JEE examination is 25 years. The question in the candidates need only to qualify in the examination to get the admission.

To get the information visit at the official website the application for the examination is available in the month of December to March. So you can start your preparation.

Engineering entrance examinations are held by the purpose of selection of students for their bachelor of engineering/ technology/ architecture from top government or private engineering colleges. Some of the main engineering entrance examinations are JEE, State EEE, COMED-K, BITSAT, SRMEEE, VITEEE, etc. .

To be eligible for engineering entrance examinations mentioned above one must have qualifications given below :-

--> You must have completed your higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education. Final year students are also eligible.

--> Your age must be within 17 years to 25 years till the final date of the year in which you are appearing in the same examination.

Now as your date of birth is in April 1999 so by the last date of 2016 your age will be around 17 years and 8 months which is within the age limit of the same examinations.

KEAM 2016 Eligibility Criteria :----------

Candidates must have passed the HSC exam of Kerala or equivalent from a recognized board
They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Age limit: Candidates must be 17 or above as on December 31 , 2016
Their is no upper age limit

The All India Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the CBSE, held for admission in degree programs in Engineering. To be eligible candidates must have passed the +2 level (Board Exam) with Physics, Chemistry and Maths and scoring minimum 50% in Board exam. The minimum limit to write the exam is 17+ and maximum age is not more than 24 years. However, Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/category.

I'm join engineer on 2013, but I still not eligible for 2 year, i want to Re admission. Now in 2017 ts possible to join engineering, and what should be a procedure? ?? Please reply I'll wait

My daughter had completed intermediate exams in 2018 march and her date of birth is 09-08-2001 is she eligible to join engineering

Following is the Age Limits to Appear in JEE 2018 Exam –
Aspirant should have born on or after 1 October 1993
There will be 5 Year age relaxation for SC,ST,PWD Candidates.
