First of all there is no meaning of CBSC but it is CBSE which is stands for the Central Board of Secondary Examination. It runs under the MHRD ( Ministry of Human Resarch and Development ) and have school all around the country and even in 21 abroad countries.

The board conducts the examination for the 10th and 10+2 board examination. The examination are generally conducted in the month of March and April.

The maximum marks for both the Biology and Chemistry paper for the 10+2 board is 100 marks. And in both the subject the examination is in the Theory and Practical.

* The Theory examination is of 70 marks in which 23 marks are required to qualify.

* The Practical paper is of 30 marks in which 13 marks is required to qualify.

Both Chemistry and Biology have the same marking scheme as far as your final grades are concerned.

The final written paper for both these subjects is of 70 marks whereas the other 30 marks are given to the final practical exam that you will have.

In both of these exams to pass (1/3) of the total marks are required.
Thus you need 23 marks in the written exams to pass and 13 in the practical.
You do need to pass in both.

As per my knowledge 33% marks you need to passed 12th biology, chemistry exam of CBSE and as you asking about its theory exam then you need to get 24 marks out of 70 and along with practical exam you have to obtain 33 marks.
