Dear friend,

Now the minimum percentage of mark to give the IIT entrance examination is 60% both in 10th and +2. But just 60% is not enough to get in IIT because now most of the well ranked IITs are preferring those candidates who scored better in 10th and +2 as well.
But this's applicable only when you just qualified the entrance examination.

Also if you're scoring a good rank in entrance test it doesn't matter in it.

Best of Luck
