hi,
For admissions in I.I.M Ahmadabad 12th marks is not matter. You have to pass your graduation with minimum 50% marks.

After that you have to apply for Common admission test (C.A.T)

C.A.T exam is national level exam conducted by I.I.M Ahmadabad for different courses in all I.I.M of India.
If you have decided to join I.I.M then your percentile will above 96.5 in all India.

To get into IIM Ahmedabad , you have to crack the MBA entrance exam CAT..

After scoring excellent percentile in CAT exam you will get a chance to take admission in IIM Ahmedabad..

For that one must have 60% aggregate through out the career..
So, if you have 60% aggregate in 12th then it will not create any problem..

please dont wate your money n career atleast dont study by loan... from maac and dnt waste your money behind degree in animation.

Minimum marks wont take you anywhere. When you are taking about IIMs, you should have 10th, 12th and graduation marks.
IIM A is the best institute, so the competition is very high.
People competing for IIM A have very good academic through out.

If you are applying for the admission in Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for post graduation course which is equal to the Master of Business Administration then your marks in 12th standard are irrelevant up to some extend.

You should be worried about the Common Admission Test which you will have to clear to get admission in IIMs. No matter which Indian Institutes of Management you are applying for, it is important to have cleared the Common Admission Test.

It is the most popular entrance exam for MBA admission, probably because the Indian Institutes of Management accepts it. The Common Admission Test is conducted sometime in October.

Now to appear for Common Admission Test you must have bachelor degree with 50 percent marks.

SC/ST should have cleared Bachelor degree with 45 percent marks to appear for the Common Admission Test.

Since IIMs are high in demand and there are very limited seats, you will have to perform extremely well to get admission in IIM Ahmedabad. I will go on to say that you should apply to multiple IIMs even if you score more than 90 percent marks.

The IIMs give weightage to the marks scored in Common Admission Test. Based on your performance in CAT, you may or may not get the admission. However some IIMs also given some weightage to the marks of the candidate in 12th standard.

However the marks in 12th only carry 10 to 20 percent weightage. There is no pre condition of meeting certain marks in 12th standard to be able to apply for Indian Institutes of Management.

I am sorry to say that after passing 12th with any stream you are not eligible for admission in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad.

If you want you can take admission after passing Graduation course with minimum 50% marks.

COMMON ADMISSION TEST

ELIGIBILITY FOR C.A.T:-
> Pass graduation with any stream from recognized University with minimum 50% marks. For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% mark is require.

> There is no age limit.

> Candidate must be citizen of India.

You will not be able to take admission in any course in IIM Ahmadabad after passing your class 12th.In IIM(Indian Institute of Management) you will only be able to take admission after passing and getting good score in CAT(Common Admission Test) Exam.This exam is basically taken for taking admission in Master degree and post graduation Diploma degree in Management related courses.For appearing in CAT Exam you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :-

As per CAT eligibility there is no minimum marks mentioned for 10th and 12th.
But since it is the best MBA college in India, you need to have maximum in 10th and 12th and also in graduation simply because due to high competition, there are lots of candidates above 99 percentile with excellent academic record.

Extra curricular

There are many people who excel in all the field and thus have better chance in getting admission
