Sir, I have M.Sc. with Mathematics from Madurai Kamraj University. And Now I m working as Gujarat government secondary teacher since 3 years. But in merit they were not counting my M.Sc just because of Madurai University. So I want to know why MKU is not valid here for government jobs?

Madurai Kamraj University offers distance learning courses.

Every University which is offering Distance learning courses should be approved by DEB (Distance Education Bureau- a Bureau of UGC). So if the university has not the approval of DEB then ypou might not be eligible for GPSC (Gujarat Public Service Commission).
