IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection.

And it is conducts the CWE (Common Written Examination) for the post of Clerical Cadre, Bank PO and Specialist Officer every year.

Syllabus for Clerk Exam:

In this FIVE sections.

1. Reasoning --------- 50 questions(50 marks)
2. English language --------50 questions(50 marks)
3. Numerical ability ----------50 questions(50 marks)
4. General awareness ----------50 questions(50 marks)
5. Computer knowledge ---------50 questions(50 marks)


The Eligibility for Bank Clerical Examination:

Qualification:

**The candidate must have to complete 10th with 60% from a recognized board.
(OR)
** The candidate must have to complete 12th with 50% from a recognized board.
(OR)
**The candidate must have to complete graduation with 50% from a recognized board or university.

Age limit:

The age limit in between 18 to 28 years. For SC/ST/PWD has upper
age relaxation.

Yes,after completion of your b.tech, you can appear for IBPS exam..
IBPS-Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an exam which is conducted to recruit the PO's(Probessionary Officers),Management trainees and clerks by various government banks...
This exam is conducted twice in a year..
There are approx.about 25,000 posts are there to fillup in the banks this time..
IBPS conducts 'Written Test' for its recruitment..And this written test consists of the following;
1.Reasoning( it contains 50 Questions for 50marks)
2.English language(50questions for 25marks)
3.Quantitative aptitude(50questions for 50marks)
4.General awareness(50que for 50marks)
5.computer knowledge(50que for 50marks)
6.Descriptive paper on English composition(Essay, Precis, Letter writting etc.) which is for 25marks

Totally the 6parts in the Written test will be for 250marks and time duration is 2 1/2 hrs.(150mins.)

Qualifications:
1. You should be Min. Of 20 to 30yrs.
2. Any degree which from any certified university
3. Application should be sent through only by ONLINE
And the last date for application forms submission is finished long back, and the exam is on sept'18 2011...
