VAO Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

<$$> Tamilnadu Public Service Commission conducts an examination for the recruitment of the VAO officers whenever there is a vacancy available. The notification of this exam this year is likely to release either in July or August.

<$$> You just need a basic minimum qualification for this exam. The criteria is to have an SSLC certificate. No matter how highly qualified you are, you still have to show the SSLC certificate.

<$$> The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 21 years. The upper age limit for giving this exam is 30 years for general category candidates.

<$$> There is relaxation available for the reserved category candidates. For them the upper age limit happens to be 40 years.

<$$> You need to be fluent in Tamil since you will be posed in Tamilnadu. For working purpose this criteria needs to be fulfilled.

<$$> But if you dont know Tamil then on getting selected you have to clear the Tamil exam conducted by TNPSC within two years from the date of selection.

<$$> To prove your medical fitness you need to show them medical certificates during the exam time to the authorities concerned.

<$$> For the exam questions will come from the following sections: General Knowledge and General Tamil/General English.

<$$> There will be 200 questions in all and 150 marks have been allotted for each section. You will get three hours to complete the paper.
